How Requests Are Handled
Describe the machine make, model and axis travel, the standard the certificate should be issued against, and whether service is needed on-site or ship-in. Scheduling and shipment both follow quotation acceptance. Do not ship a machine or artifact before a quotation is accepted — return shipping and rebooking are the requester's cost if it arrives unscheduled.

Everyday questions come back by return. Requests involving a price are handled by the quotation desk and answered in writing. The request a quote page lists what to include — send that much and the first reply is the quotation itself.
What to Include
Anything sent through the form reaches the requests desk directly. Detail supplied in writing shortens the exchange, so a written request is generally answered sooner than a spoken one. Existing jobs should be identified by their reference number.
Have an item to price?
Send the item, the measurement points, the tolerances and the turnaround needed; the quotation follows in writing.
